A viral app called EcoGPT has passed 100,000 downloads by claiming AI data centers will drain the planet's fresh drinking water, a claim repeatedly debunked, and critics are now calling it greenwashing that exploits environmental guilt.
OpenAI rolled out a ChatGPT Work feature that studies how you write across connected apps like Gmail, Slack, and Google Drive, then carries your tone, phrasing, and formatting habits into future drafts.
An AI-designed drug from Insilico Medicine showed early signs of slowing ageing in a 42-person trial, though scientists note that ageing clocks are still contested and the drug has a long road of trials ahead.
Safety researchers are raising concerns over GPT-6 Astra's training method, reported to cycle reasoning through internal layers in a way that leaves less of a readable trace, with Redwood Research's chief scientist calling it one of the worst developments yet for AI safety monitoring.
TUTORIAL
How to make ChatGPT Work write like you

ChatGPT Work can now learn your writing style from your own past messages and documents. Here is the workflow.
Open ChatGPT and toggle on Work.
Go to Settings, Personalization, then Writing Style.
Connect the apps with the best examples of your writing, such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Slack.
Let ChatGPT analyze the patterns in your writing.
Return to Work and ask ChatGPT to draft an email, message, or document as normal.
Review the output to confirm it sounds like you, and adjust which sources it's learning from if needed.
One caveat: the learned style is only as good as the writing samples you connect, so point it at your best, most representative work rather than every message in your inbox.

Tables — an AI prospecting tool that finds, researches, scores, and verifies leads. Useful for filling a pipeline faster, with the usual caveat of double-checking data before outreach.
Dictantor — an AI notetaker and transcription tool that records your meetings. Handy for capturing conversations, though accuracy can dip with crosstalk or accents.
GoodLads — an AI-powered growth manager that tests, ships, and tracks Google Ads optimizations. Promising for hands-off ad management, though you'll still want to review spend regularly.
